About Me

My photo
Soapgarden
Hello. My name is Denise and I live with my best friend, my husband of 38 years in the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I have two wonderful and talented sons and a beautiful and gifted daughter-in-law. I am an avid gardener. Along with my funny little dog Jake, we dig lots of holes. I have always been interested in soaps. I bought glycerin soaps from other soapers for many years. It took me awhile to realize I could make them myself. But once I tried, it quickly took on a life of its own. It became my passion. I would go to sleep at night thinking about a new bar to make, dream about it that night, and in the morning hurry to the kitchen to start making soap. Like a child with a new toy, I began to play. Working with melt and pour allows me to express myself. I create soap that reminds me of a time, a place, or just a moment that moved me in my life. It can be as simple as a childhood memory or some flower from my garden. I like to combine color and fragrance along with rich oils and butters. Goat milk is one of my favorites. I like to think of my soaps as being an affordable luxury. Thank you for your time and please stop by my Etsy shop for a visit. Soapgarden.etsy.com
